Israel attacks Lebanese towns with artillery fire

The Israeli regime’s military forces have targeted the vicinity of two southern Lebanese town with artillery fire.
According to a Sunday report filed by an al-Alam correspondent in Lebanon, the occupying regime targeted the towns of Zabqin and Tair harfa in southern Lebanon with artillery shells.
The report further indicates that following the aggressive move by the Israeli forces, Lebanese Army troops as well as UNIFIL forces stationed on the Lebanese border and occupied Palestinian territories were placed in high-alert position.
The development comes as Israeli forces continue pounding civilian populated areas of Gaza Strip, so far leaving more than 167 people, including scores of children, dead and hundreds wounded.
