ISIL serving Israel, US spy agencies: Analyst
A political analyst says the ISIL Takfiri militants currently wreaking havoc on Iraq are serving the interest of Israeli and US intelligence agencies.
“They are clearly, as we see them here, an organ of intelligence agencies. They are almost a theatrical organization. They are very much involved totally in serving, we believe, masters from Tel Aviv, the CIA, and elsewhere for following a very dark agenda,” Gordon Duff said in an interview with Press TV.
The analyst said that the Takfiri terrorists currently operating in Iraq “are fighting the enemies of Israel” and seek to divide Shia and Sunni Muslims.
The crisis in Iraq escalated after ISIL terrorists took control of the city of Mosul, in a lightning advance on June 10.
Duff further said that ISIL terrorists are operatives of the Tel Aviv regime as the Israeli army is killing hundreds of Palestinians across the besieged Gaza Strip “and they are not saying a word.”
“I think they have announced very clearly who they are to all of us,” he said.
The bloodshed is continuing in Gaza for the 14th straight day as there is no let-up in the Israeli onslaught on the blockaded enclave. Medics say the overall Palestinian death toll has now soared to at least 505.
Israeli warplanes and soldiers backed by tanks have intensified aerial and ground operations against the coastal sliver. More than 3,000 Palestinians have also been wounded since July 8.
