Lebanese civilians have come under fire after foreign-backed insurgents in Syria threatened to transfer what they described as the blood battles into Lebanon. The militants also fired seven Grad rockets at Lebanese towns which destroyed several houses. Lebanese officials say they're going to file a complaint to the Arab League to stop such attacks.
As Syria’s army has succeeded in cleansing and regaining power in Al-Qusayr border area by eliminating the stronghold of Al-Nusra front in Homs province; the foreign-backed insurgents in Syria seem to be trying to take the battle elsewhere.
Seven Grad rockets have been fired in the past two days into Lebanese towns near the Syrian border. Unlike the previous deadly attacks; this time the damage was only material.
“The Foreign-backed insurgents in Syria have claimed that they are attacking military targets for the Lebanese Resistance movement Hezbollah. So far the only targets that have been hit have turned out to be civilian homes and institutions.”
A divine hand is what this woman believes stopped a horrid massacre from taking the lives of her five nephews and their parents.
Prior to the attack, inhabitants of Hermel received phone messages which read the following:
“After Hezbollah, the Lebanese government and its traitor Army have backed the Assad gangs we Al-Nusra Front and Al-Qusayr Military Council have decided to transfer the “Blood Battles” into the heart of Lebanon.”
The statement added that dormant members of the so-called Free Syrian Army in Lebanon will begin to attack Hezbollah centers.
According to one Hezbollah MP the attacks on Lebanese civilians are the result of the armed gangs’ defeat in Syria.
Press TV moved on to speak to another family whose building was shaken when one Grad rocket penetrated through the kitchen wall on the second floor leaving this huge gap behind.
Again we heard the same words, "divine intervention" is what prevented harm from reaching no less than 50 children.
Due to their exposure to armed gangs' terror people in these regions have assembled what they call "popular committees" designed to protect Lebanese citizens.
Though the Lebanese Resistance Movement has time and again pledged that it is not taking part in the battles going on inside Syria, Hezbollah MP Nawwar Saheli retreated to Press TV his movement’s stance in supporting these popular committees describing this support as a moral and patriotic obligation.
As a result of the continuous deadly attacks carried out by foreign-backed armed insurgents against Lebanese civilians; Lebanon's Foreign Minister, has just recently pledged that Beirut will be filing a complaint to the Arab League over the armed opposition's violations.
Mansour stated that the Arab League must take full responsibility for its decisions; namely the ones which call for the backing and armament of the same armed groups which are harvesting Lebanese lives.
