An army unit killed a number of antigovernment fighters in farms on the Western side of Damascus-Homs international road in Harasta area, a military source told the Syrian Arab News Agency, adding that Obada Dahdouh and Noureddin Najjar, the leaders of two armed groups, were among the killed rebels.
Another unit of the army dismantled 5 explosive devices weighing between 25-30 Kg planted by the rebels in al-Rasas farms between Douma and Harasta, the source added.
In Masraba, another army unit killed a number of al-Nusra Front's terrorists, including Samir Abdullhai and Omar Sallam.
Also, an army unit pursued the members of an armed group in Babyla town and killing several fighters, including Firas al-Otawani and Abo Mahmoud al-Sayyid.
Meanwhile, other troops continued operations against rebels, destroying their dens and gatherings in Daraya, killing scores of terrorists.
Khalil al-Khatib, the leader of an armed group, Alaa al-Jarida and Muhammad al-Hamshari were among the killed militants.
Meantime, the Syrian armed forces destroyed terrorists' dens in al-Ziyabiyeh in Damascus outskirts, inflicting heavy losses upon them.
