Syrian Army Units Gain Control in Al-Qaboun Neighborhood
TEHRAN (FNA)- Syrian army units gained control over large parts of al-Qaboun neighborhood after a series of operations.
Numbers of terrorists were killed and their dens and gatherings were destroyed in the operations, SANA reported.
An official source said that the army units took control of main axes in the Eastern and Western parts of al-Qaboun extending towards the central part of the neighborhood where the biggest numbers of terrorists stationed.
The source added that the army units controlled several points adjacent to Damascus-Homs road, having killed and wounded terrorists and destroyed their weapons and ammunition.
Army units restored security and stability to al-Qaboun industrial area separating Jobar and al-Qaboun few days ago after eliminating all terrorist groups in the area.
