Famous artists follow certain patterns. Egyptian statues, at one point, all had one foot in front of the other. Greek statues were focused on mythology and sport (mainly), and celebrated the natural world. Themes are similar, with a personalisation. In today’s twisted artistic circles, these patterns are abuse, (as mentioned in previous posts on Vigilant Citizen) the death-becomes-them type of thing, the focus being on one eye, black and white, dualism … the list continues.
I’ve come across a new, up and coming photograher that continues the trends that have been hot in fashion these last few years. Original? Goodness, no! Pushing an agenda and further proof of a small group pushing images and certain themes into every corner of our lives? Yes. So far, he’s shot for Vogue China, Elle China, Runway, Glamour.fr, and a few other well-know magazines.
Let us begin with the MK (Monarch mind control imagery. Patients being abused by cute doctors in lab coats? Sure! Why not! Seems like a bit of light-hearted fun!

Two faces, two personalities. Red, coincidentally, symbolizes a sacrafice. Oh, and yes, the model has two faces in EVERY photograph included in this shoot.
Not into that? Prefer puppets? Masks, dissociation? We’ve got it.
Still not enough? How’s about some de-humanised, lab specimens?
Well kids, remember: if your art teacher says you suck, your parents and your friends can’t appreciate your art work, someone always will, if you’ve got the right stuff. This is just one of those (success?) stories.
