The Syrian army forces continue their advances in al-Khalidiya neighborhood in downtown Homs.
According to opposition sources, the armed militants are controlling not more than two square kilometers of al-Khalidiya which raised their concerns about the imminent fall of the neighborhood.
And in Talkalakh, Rif Homs, the Syrian army killed a number of militants when an armed group tried to flee into the Lebanese territories.
The Syrian army also clashed with another group of militants between the al-Na’amid and Sadad towns, east of Homs, seizing a car loaded with weapons.
The Syrian army also targeted a militants’ gathering in al-Hosn and al-Tayba al-Gharbiya in al-Houla, Rif Homs, killing a number of them.
In light of these advancements, the foreign-backed militants detonated two car bombs in Homs’s Akrama neighborhood, killing and wounding a number of citizens including women and children.
The Syrian crisis began in March 2011, and thousands of people, including large numbers of government forces, have been killed.
Damascus says the chaos is being orchestrated from outside the country, and there are reports that a very large number of the militants are foreign nationals.
